Event Details
Join us for the first session of a multi-part series: Make a Quilted Jacket. This project-based series will span 5-6 sessions in April and May, and will require attendance at most (ideally all!) of these sessions in order to complete the garment.
This series will involve selecting a pattern and fabrics, and cutting and piecing the garment's lining and shell. At this initial intro session, we'll discuss the project's scope, pattern options, and materials list before we dive in.
Last thing: Participants need to have taken the Library's Intro to the Sewing Machine class with instructor Patty Ibarra at some point in the past. If you're new to the library's sewing space and/or haven't taken Patty's Intro class--but want to participate in this coat-making series--pls email Amy at abrown@nkcpl.org. (We'll get something figured out!)
This series is for adult sewists only.
