Materials may be renewed over the phone at 816.221.3360 during business hours or via nkcpl.org with your password/PIN (choose “account login”). Maximum of 2 renewals on any item unless there is a hold on the item.
No late fees- only charged if a book is lost for 45 days or is damaged

Any item which is checked out may be reserved at the main circulation desk. You can do this yourself anytime at NKCPL.org. When your hold is available for checkout you will get it from the Public Holds Shelf. It will still need to be checked out.
We share resources across the state of Missouri but if there is something you want that none of those libraries have we can use WorldCat. Most titles not owned by the NKCPL can be borrowed from another library nationwide. Let us know what you’re looking for and we can help you put in a request.
